Changelog

What changed in Nevershort, newest first. Only changes that are live for every merchant are listed here.

  • Import your sales history from a CSV

Coming from another tool? Upload your old order history and we match it to your products by SKU, so your reorder numbers are built on years instead of weeks. You see what matched, and what didn’t, before anything is saved.

  • See why a product got its number

Click any product on the reorder list to see the weeks behind it: what sold, the days it was sold out (which don’t count against its demand), and when it was restocked.

  • Up to 90 days of stock history from the day you install

We now read your past stock levels from Shopify at install, so sell-outs from before you joined are recognised straight away.

  • New products show up without waiting

Products you add or edit after installing are picked up as soon as Shopify tells us about them.

  • Sales of deleted variants are no longer lost

If you delete a variant and create it again, its earlier sales are matched back to it by SKU.

  • No dollar figure on thin evidence

A sold-out product with fewer than 3 sales is still listed as out of stock, but we no longer guess what it is costing you.

  • One coverage figure

The reorder page and the data health page now show the same stockout-coverage percentage.

  • The reorder page leads with a number, not an alarm

What sold-out products are costing you per day is shown as a figure at the top. Red banners are kept for things that are genuinely wrong, so they still mean something when they appear.

  • A Shopify billing outage no longer locks you out

If Shopify’s billing service stops answering, your current plan keeps working while it recovers.

  • The Monday email

One email a week, on Monday morning in your shop’s time zone, with what to reorder and how much. If you change your shop’s time zone, the email follows.

  • Supplier lead times

Set a lead time per supplier or per product, instead of every product getting the same 14-day guess.

  • Export your reorder list as a CSV

One click from the reorder page. Your data is yours to take anywhere.

  • Filter by location

Shops with more than one location can see the reorder list for one location at a time.

  • Bundles count toward the products inside them

Kits sold through bundle apps or draft orders now count as demand for their parts, without double-counting Shopify’s own bundles.

  • Real work comes before placeholders

Products that have never sold no longer rank above products that sold out with customers still waiting.

  • Data health

See when each part of your store last synced. If a sync ever stops, you see it here instead of finding out from a wrong number.

  • Sold-out days don’t count as zero demand

A day a product couldn’t be bought tells us nothing about how many you’d have sold, so it is left out of the average rather than dragging it down.
